Commercial scope guide
DDP Shipping from China
A DDP proposal should explain the importer arrangement, customs work, taxes, surcharges and final delivery. The label alone does not define the commercial scope.

Request a line-by-line scope for origin pickup, export handling, main transport, customs filing, duties, taxes, inspections, storage, delivery and exception charges.
Importer and compliance responsibilities
Ask who is named in the import process, who supplies product information and who is responsible for classification, valuation and regulatory evidence. Obtain qualified advice where needed.
Events that can change the total
Customs exams, inaccurate dimensions, reclassification, remote delivery, address correction, storage, returns and prohibited-product findings can create costs outside a base quote unless addressed.
Compare proposals on the same basis
Use the same shipment data and inclusion checklist for every provider. Review validity dates, currencies, chargeable-weight rules, tax treatment and excluded events before comparing the headline total.
